Files: Sharing Permissions Interface Update
The interface for setting sharing permissions on in your Canvas Files area (Account > Files) has been simplified.
Though Published and Unpublished are the most common permissions for a file, instructors can also set files to:
- Not visibile in student files – only available to those with direct link
- Schedule student availability – make file available in course for a specific period of time
No functionality has been changed – this is only a design change in the user interface.
